To move this thread forward productively let me ask this. JB3 users what features would want to see added? BMS and the crew is busy working away but maybe someone will come up with something they've missed and this is a great opportunity for us to be a positive part of the process. I'm happy bms makes competinion and improves it's products. But you and many other guys here just don't get what some are saying. I'm not saying anything about JB3 as a product. I'm not saying anything about witch tune or tuner is better. What I'm saying is that the situation is quite laughable: at first denying the features/innovations Vishnu implemented is important, calling it BS, irrelevant, etc. (and I've read it myself but didn't comment anything) and then, after some time implementing it into JB. Funny.

If i'm not mistaken this thread was about a new product coming out from BMS. Whats there not to get?? Its all the fan boys that is ruining this thread. Seems like you guys are the ones that isn't getting what this thread is about. I'm not even commenting about either tune. Both have its pros and cons. Alan

Yes, a new product coming out. A product wich will have features that were bashed by Terry before. This brings a logical question - how come? But fanboys won't get it. Nevermind Ok, I won't "ruin" this thread no more. Good luck. P.S. Maybe I'll switch to JBx in the future. I don't know. But it has to be better (for me). Looking forward for the new product.

I think i saw Mike talk about it and how Shiv was using it, and marketing it in a bad way but not bashing the need for it? Customers are asking for it and want it, sometimes you have to give the customers what they want. If it does have CAN and the same features its jsut going to be ALOT cheaper than the PROcede, that might make alot of people pissed but this is what competition brings, and the JB3 has always shined. |

Has this been brought to Terrys attention? What does he have to say about it? Or Mike for that matter? I tryed looking for it on the other site, and on some of Mikes posts, but the only thing i saw was that they didnt like the marketing ways Shiv was using it. Not sure if people were/are mixing up not liking shiv and the way he was presenting/marketing/specifically using the CAN with them bashing CAN completely. At the end of the night, the customers are asking for new advanced features... They dont have much choice if this is the direction the N54 is progressing to. http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showth...ghlight=canbus You have to realize, no tuner is going to flat out disrespect another tune. They are going to CREATIVELY Talk down about each other though. See thread title. |

+1000 Oh and for all those who can't stop talking about CAN. If Terry incorporates CAN it will be just one of the new features. Trust me if you guys knew what he has in store you guys would be talking about other things. I also had a discussion with Terry about why he would even ever consider adding CAN and he said because customers have been asking for it. He said it would be an option for those who want that added feature/extra control but is not a vital part of tuning and what the average JB customer needs. So stop faulting someone for giving the customer what they want. If Procede customers started asking Shiv for something that JB has then would BMS be able to do what you guys are doing to Terry? Probably not. You guys would probably say oh wow look how innovative it is, not only does it do more than the JB but now it also does such and such. My favorite comment of this whole thread was Mikes response to what tunes would cost without JB. He said $1495 which I find funny cause that was the original price of the procede and if it wasn't for BMS we all would probably still be paying upwards $1500 for tunes and being told whats good for us rather than all the knowledge we have gained through competition so stop finding faults in what is normal practice for any level of business from major league companies like apple and google to BMS and Vishnu. Just be intelligent enough to realize that having options is a good thing. |

You are looking for a needle in a hay stack, you are looking for a sentence of Terry say Procede sucks and can doesn't do jack sh*t. Terry never said those words. What he did was continue to banter and bicker about how meaningless it is.... creatively and used other ways of talking down to CAN, and showing how the JB3 is just as good. What you fail to realize is its very ironic how he talked so un-highly about the use of CAN, yet its being implanted. Its simple IRONY. I never claimed anything.... btw so get your story straight, my claim is all these tune are garbage. |

People might be discussing features had any been posted. What's the point of an "[insert vendor here] is gonna do something cool in months and months" thread? It builds more resentment than excitement when you are as vague as can be. Content is king. That's why your thread went to shit. |

....I know....
If anyone is on the fence and wants any of these "New Features / JB3 updates," simply, check the "For Sale" threads on here for my JB3 PNP (used) / CMGS (brand new) meth kit I just posted. Nothing against BMS, etc. It's just time to go with either GIAC or Proceed. As far as the Meth kit, As many have pointed out, it's probably best to go with the one that your tuner endorses, but, I'm no expert like others in this thread FWIW, as far as myself and this Osbourne-ish community here, most likely I'm one step up in knowledge from the "minivan driver with a mobile phone in the one hand and the other hand being used to apprehend his or her delinquent offspring". Be that is may be, the parts are in great shape |

What's with the "X JB3" user in your sig.. Come on and your trying to say your not a huge fan boi?! Gimme a fricken break..
As to what is going to be in store for JB3 in the near future, I am totally intersted to see what it is. No matter what Terry said in the past has no holds on what his tune can do in the future. Sh*t if your basing your tuning decision based off of business ethics, look @ how shiv acts on these forums, sometimes I think I stepped into a preschool forum instead of a BMW one when reading some of his repsonses. Bottom line, Terry is updating his tune to please the request or recommendations of his customers. Its called business 101. I and many other JB3 owners are looking forward to this! |
