Hello, Do you have an estimate on time and cost for a '13 335is MT, LSD ? From what I am reading, I believe the OE is a large welded 3.08, and I would like to maintain the 3.08. Please let me know.

That is just for the LSD and Final Drive (i.e the Ring & Pinion). This would replace your existing oem Differential and Final Drive.

The "core exchange" only applies when we rebuild and send you an entire housing/pumpkin.

Differential - This is the unit that does all the magic
Final Drive - This is the Ring Gear (sometimes welded onto the differential) & Pinion, which is what determines the gear ratio e.g 3.46
Core/Housing/Carrier/Pumpkin - This is the entire unit that comes off your car, and is what "contains" the Differential and Final Drive

A lot of companies who sell these parts confuse customers by interchanging these 3 item names as if they are the same thing. They are NOT the same thing.
