I have been away for a week with limited access to the web.
Bostonian- I was running around in your part of the world. Enjoyed a week of cell phoneless life in Maine. Back to the real world. Glad to see the cars made it. Now I have to wait until January 16th (but PCD should be worth the wait). Everyone will have to post up pics of their cars when they get them. I am sure you will all enjoy. |

Sounds great! Looking forward to taking pics of the new car. I mentioned picking up the new car to my seven year old tonight, and he said, "Dad, is that all you ever think about?"
Well, it's kinda true, y'know... Last edited by Bostonian; 12-09-2007 at 02:13 AM.. |

it went into NYC/NJ and if it already made it to mass, then it definitely has to be here in maryland!!! my CA and i agreed to touch base on monday and if they didn't have it then he'd try and see if he'd get me a loaner since i've been driving and paying for a rental for over 2 weeks and they promised me the 10th. i doubt they want to call me and tell me its there because i'd probably want to supervise! HAHA i agree, this wait is unbelievably nuts - i can't believe i am acting like this! and i only put in for mine 4 weeks ago!

What kind of car are you guys upgrading from? Because I seriously can't wait to get rid of my '97 nissan altima. Yea, I know what you are thinking. Why would I get rid of that sweet ride for a 335i coupe?

Can't wait to get rid of my '05 Acura TL. Decent car but I wouldn't buy another one...
I can't imagine anyone from the Charleston VPC would be getting their car yet unless they lived in Charleston. |

Just talked to my CA and my car got to the VPC in Greer, SC today and should make it through processing by tomorrow. It's scheduled to be on a truck on Thursday and should be here by Saturday!

Google maps says that from Greer to Gainesville is about 459 miles.
Strange thing is that if you look where Greer is it's in the north western part of SC. It's about 217 miles from Charleston. You would think BMW would make the VPC a little closer? Isn't the VPC in NJ right by the port? Last edited by BoostedE90; 12-11-2007 at 12:14 PM.. |

Greer is pretty damn far inland from the port. I'm about 750miles from Greer. So there could be a chance us people in the midwest could be getting our cars by this weekend also. An extra 300miles thats only a few extra hours. Hopefully!

This car is replacing the free time I have on the weekend with fun, spirited driving (with full support of my wife)!!!!!
Come on January 16th. I can't belive I have another month to wait. I am a bit jealous of the rest of you but the PCD will be worth the wait. |

Hm... I didn't even think to look up Greer. I just assumed it was near Charleston. I'm only about 500 miles from there. I guess there's hope my baby might show up this weekend too. Nice!

Today's my last day (hopefully) of driving my 1995 Volvo 850 Turbo to work. I'd like to say no more squeaks and rattles on my commute, but you never know with BMW.
Picking up my car at 10 am tomorrow then getting clear bra at 2 pm. Woo hoo!!! |
