I know what you mean. I spent $71 dollars on 16.5 gallons the other day.
The red one is very compelling.
I agree the 4000 lbs. AND the 4WD contribute to some very unwanted understeer, but it still does a great job in the corners, if I may say so.
Al you could always get CPO M5 sedan (but I believe you said you didn't want another BMW and it gets shitty MPG, but for what it's worth: http://www.perillobmw.com/site/used_...P-v852275.html dont laugh..it's from Perillo's CPO inventory.)

I was more just mapping out the possibilities of an RS4 being available from an Audi dealer in the tri-state area that isn't filled with assholes; one that you can get for less than 45k.
