So I just decided to newb up my 3. HKS BOV. You guys almost convinced me to go JB3, but I decided to take the easy way out (unless I somehow decide otherwise in the next 5 hours). My only tunes will thus be JB+, BOV, DCI; all basically in the same area and would be an easy to swap when going to the dealership.

I feel like I've disapointed myself, but it should only take me like 30-1hr and no tools to install BOV it looks like.

But good luck on your project car...

problem with JB+ is that you will have your limits for it and Terry is constantly working on improving the maps for better performance and smoothness of the ride for the JB3.

BOV is a no go for me.

If you wanted attention from people, you would probablly get it more from an exhaust than a Bov.

Kroy, Rameal just said he will install the JB3 for you for free if you get it. Don't be a puss and just get the JB3. BOV is a waste of money..

Thanks for the offer Rameal, I might take you up on it in another month or two. I pretty much already committed to buying from this guy so I'd feel kind fo bad backing out now. Decent price too. Also, I want to fence my JB+ to help pay for the JB3.

I'm going to message this guy bmwthree35i to see if he'll sell me the JB3. Last try. If he sells, then I'll just turn down the HKS again(I'd feel really bad about that). But I'll leave this up to the hand of fate.

I don't have tools to open up the cowl of ECU though. Need to buy some tools soon. I literally only have screwdrivers (not many!) at my house.

I also took a look at the install instructions for ****** bov. That looked pretty easy. Digging into the ECU...

yeah I've backed out once before and you feel bad, but they always find another buyer... GET THE JB3 you won't regret it. I used to have an SSTT and when I got my JB3... well...
