I'm not quite sure of the procedure either (if all you need to do is click clear memory)

Thanks.

Hey guys!
Found something important for People who dont have US DRL ( Like me ).
In the list, everything is right for coding US DRL, but the line PWM_FL_FKT_DRL must be changed to wert_02 or it wont work.

I have already coded the DRL like US models but my PWM_FL_FKT_DRL is wert_01.

Hooray for something different. I was able to change voltage on my AE to 16 volts. Wiring and heat aside I don't need no LED AE's anymore!

Also a newsflash. Did you know that "PWM" strings he FRM module don't mean "Power" but actually "Pulse-Width Modulation". In other words FRM monitors that all the lights are getting 13 Volts at all times. And how? It turns on and off the power really quick (80hz, 80 times per second) until desired voltage is obtained. There are no problems with regular incandescent bulbs but that's why some LED's flicker when the engine is on (engine on = more voltage) and some cheaper HID inventors won't even start. Vendors remedy that by installing capacitors.

If your fuel cap error is STILL on after all that, I would go verify it's on tight (yup, in that order )

Yes I discovered this few pages back. There are so many of them because of the 3 different FRMs (FRM/FRM2/FRM3). They all use different values.

Spreadsheet update !

Ok, here is the first update :

I'have created a form to submit a new function . (for more simplicity)

When anyone fill this form, the data goes in a special sheet in the spreadsheet.

Pleas give me your feedback.

Submit a function form

Second update :

I have added a dropdown menu to choose the value in the year column .

If anyone seen how to improve the spreasheet, please tell us !

Does anyone know if a DIY exists for fixing the CIC i-Drive issue with the pre 2011.5 without combox?

The issue outlined in this thread:

Anyone knows which module controls seat memory?

As a safety feature, you need to press and hold the desired memory button while the driver's door is closed.
I would like to disable it then I can call up the desired position at one touch regardless of the driver's door status.

Yes good idea.

But at this time I need some help, just received my cable.

Installer all the package, downloaded the lasted driver, readed carrefully the PDF.

My car comunicate with INPA beacause I see black round for battery and for ignition.

And when I press the start button against, the ignition go in blank into INPA. Then I'm sure the comunication is etablished.

So I try to load the airbag test. F9 => Karosserie => airbag

And this is what I have each time :

My latency Timer is on 1

Dont understand my can be the problem...

If anyone can help me that would great !

I got the same error but just skipped that part and NCS expert worked. I was able to code everything and INPA still does not work for me. I don't even get the 2 black dots.

It has to do with INPA's database. It might not have correct version of the files or don't have your car on there at all. Google "manual INPA update" and ye shall receive

Actually wait, it says datatransmission disturbed. What year is yur car? Is the ignition on?

Your DIY is very nice, but this line is confusing.

I would suggest to clarify that section because I'm sure many users will not understand this.

cheers!

Damn, awesome. Wonder how that works with Lux AEs... or other aftermarket ones, for that matter. Wonder if they burn.
