2008 i-Drive NAV DVD?

BMW labels the disc 2008.1 so that if (when) they release newer revisions throughout the year, they can call them 2008.2 etc.

Cool! I'm getting 120kB/sec download and uploading at a steady 60kB/sec. Just need to make sure the original seeder stays on till someone else gets it all.

Thank you thank you! But I don't see any seeders at this time.

I am using a NAS that has a BT client on it, so if someone can seed, when I complete, I'll just leave it up for a couple of weeks.

I can only seed until Sunday morning so hopefully there are more seeders available before then.

The speed should increase later tonight when I go to bed and stop surfing for porn.

Just started the d/l. No seeders currently. d/l @ 125 kbps and u/l @ 43 kbps. done 1% in 10 minutes. I guess I'll leave it on all day!

I am downloading the iso under linux but i'm running on vista. Will this work?

The ISO is just an image. Your car is the only thing it will work on. You won't have any problem burning it from Vista.

Hey folks, it's not clear to me in reading this thread if someone has added some programming changes to the 2008.1 DVD? I see it's available via torrent but did someone actually modify the programming? There was some talk about POIs, etc., that's why I'm asking. I can't imagine that's so but wanted to ask anyway.

No one is redistributing a US POI-merged DVD AFAIK, we've been discussing in a different thread how to merge the POI info but there's no easily-reproducible solution yet.

There is another thread about adding custom POIs.
Not hard to do and it's good to have speed cams and red light cams on the map.
I'll work on that after the download completes.
