Trailer? Didn't know our cars even had the trailer cable plug.

You are best to look here, somewhere on there you can go through the codding possibilities for each car.

Cheers. I'll check it out. As soon as a CAN bus trailer module is fitted to the car, the trailer lights are monitored and LED trailer lights make it throw constant errors. I've fitted resistors to my trailer lights but not quite low enough resistance so every now and then, I'll still get an error. From memory, one of the modules have an option "LED trailer lights fitted" but I can't remember where and haven't used NCSExpert for ages.

Yep, I've moved on but still occassionally drop in. I think I might have one left but you'd probably be able to get one in your local area but let me know if you want me to check. I know I had a bunch of things left over that are just sitting around.

I guess I'm still a bit confused as the bulb itself seems to be permanently attached to this board. It seems like the whole board needs to be replaced if one of the bulbs go out.

This is the part

The bulbs should just be push in and turn to remove and replace. If the ones in the the pic above are stuck, there appears to be some discolouration around the base of the bulbs which could have been caused by a short and melting plastic.

On E93 the reverse bulbs are soldered to the board.

On E92 the bulbs pull out.
