Judging by the price of the 328i coupe, it's fairly obvious that the price difference between the sedan and coupe models will be larger than it ever has...I'd guess at least $2000. This became apparent when we started finding out about coupe specific trims, colors, etc - BMW wants to further differentiate the coupe from the sedan. I really wouldn't expect an MSRP of any more than $33,000 for the base sedan (in this case the 328i - unless we're going to see a 323i after all?). Figure ~33k for the 328 sedan and ~38k for the 335. In any case, it's pretty obvious that the 335 sedan will be under 40k regardless of BMW's strategy at this point.

I'm thinking a little over $41K (including destination) for an E90 335 with sport and metallic paint...which is the way I am leaning currently...so less expensive than my ZHP was.

Local dealership was lame and would only offer $500 below MSRP for cars on the lot -- bought in DFW for $400 over invoice for same car...well worth the 180 mile drive. Good luck with your hard-ball pricing...people with half a clue won't go for it. You are insane if you think you deserve an extra $1000 from "single ladies" and "nurses" as you describe. :mad:

yeah I would never pay Sticker for any car. I could just wait a month or two and save thousands. Or I could just do ED and still save thousands. Or I could do both ED and switch to Geico and save a bunch on my car insurance.

Did you guys never buy the car in the past or what? Every car loan gives you 5 business days to pay off without interest or penalty. I bought my e90 the same way. I picked up the car at dealer with no money on hand, but just a credit card. I put $2500 down and took the car home. Dealers don't care how you pay for the car, cash or finance, they have to finance you with a dealer loan called back-up loan in case your checks bounce or your own finance's cancelled. I came back to the dealer 4 days later with 2 checks and paid it off. You don't need to surprise them at all.

Oh yeah? and you think they allow you to carry the Oregon license plate in California for long? By the time you get the CA license plate, you'll pay a shit load of money on registration and documentation from $3000 - $4000. Let's see if you can cheat the government on that. I know that no one can.

damn it I guesstimated $39,300-39,600 + 695 delivery. LOL shoulda stuck with my original of $41k. Howcome nobody's me for this??

Ofcourse, I umm "suggested" in November 2005:
$41k for the 335 Turbo (off by $400)
$36k for the 328 (off by $700)

Although, as time went on, I shifted down slightly to $40k for the Turbo .
