  1. How many ATP custom maps can I get made in a tuning session? Is this something I negotiate with the vendor?
  2. Will I be able to get maps made to maximize performance on pump, race & alternative fuel gas?
  3. What happens when software gets updated? I know right now v3x is the current official software, but what happens if I get my ATP Maps now + then the v4x software gets officially released?

Thanks a lot, this is a great addition to the COBB tune (especially for people who want aftermarket turbos + run meth). And since we have space for up to 100 maps on the AP, there's plenty of room for both the OTS + ATP Maps
1. You can work that out with the tuning shops. It really comes down to how much time you have to spend on the dyno!
2. Pretty much the same as the above. You could get as many different kinds of maps you want and then easily switch between them and our OTS maps all using the AccessPORT.
3. Typically when new features are released in new firmware, older maps will still work just fine. For other platforms we have provided free map conversion tools to update older maps, so it shouldn't be any kind of issue at all.

Im almost positive the HFS-3 has a failsafe because I was going to get the HFS-2 and it didnt come with the failsafe. But maybe the failsafe on the HFS-4 is a bit better then the HFS-3..... But overall, it seems as if the HFS-3 is a good system to run. Well hopefully lol

The HFS-4 was designed with DI engines in mind. It controls flow based on boost and fuel spray (don't remember the exact term).

Oh ok I understand. But I should most likely be fine with the HFS-3 correct?

Yes you will be fine with an HFS-3...You will just be using a different type of fail safe...Youre fine...The meth maps coming are using the HFS-4 but can be run with any meth system, you just won't have the ability to use a fail safe via IDC

I guess I should possibly make a post about this, but yes we do offer remote tuning services. Anyone interested please send us an email at sales@efilogics.com and we can give you or remote tuning guidelines which outlines everything thoroughly.

Essentially you just need to give us the information we will need such as your fuel type, consistency, location, modifications and so on and we go through rounds of analyzing data that you send to us and we tweak your tune until we get to the final map that we feel comfortable with.

Shoot me a PM if you guys want to talk about this more off of the thread, but the remote tuning guidelines will outline everything for you clearly if you send us an email. Just please note that we only remote tune stage 1 and stage 2 cars. Anything that goes beyond that including alternate fuel types, meth kits, turbos and so on we need to do in person.

So S2+FMIC does not qualify for remote tuning?

I believe S2+ qualifies, but I need to confirm with our tuner Chris.

Already been researching it, but if I remember correctly I believe I saw that Cobb was to release some form of WOT. Maybe I read that wrong some where but I figured since they were going to offer it, that it was possible for whoever is tuning the car to add that feature? Or than again like I said I could be wrong

Hey will be releasing NLS and 2 step launch control, it'll be a little while though. They'll get the meth maps, N55 and ATR released first.

Exactly and they don't sell any other products for that feature so it has to be tune related or map related. So maybe I have a chance here! lol Ill find out this Monday when I get my tune if everything works out.

Exactly. NLS is not a priority guys. Probably a year before these are available.

+1, this shit is SOO much more important than NLS. Especially if you can already get a WOT box if NLS matters that much to you. The BMW MT w/ a short shifter is significantly better geared & gives smoother shifts than the MTs in the WRX or MS3.

I beg to differ. For AWD 6MT people who drag race or street race a 2-step is critical. And the code to implement at least a simple version of it is relatively trivial. If they still don't have it by the time I go off warranty I'll be buying a different tuning solution.

I don't have an Xi so this is why I'm unfamiliar with that headache, but do the other tunes have this feature?
