UED | Painted Reflector and Kidney Grille GB

*** As of yesterday only 5 sets of grilles were missing from the order. They are expecting these to come in today. I'll know at around 1:00 pm today (in 1.5 hours).

We talked to the paint shop and although I don't want to say it's for sure, he says he is going to try and have them by Monday

. We'll know for sure when he has the grilles in his hand, but we're going to try our best to have them shipped by mid next week.

Thanks for the continued support guys!! Our supplier says we pretty much depleted the country for grilles since all of the orders coming out of Germany are coming to us

Thanks for the update Andy, don't rush too much about the grills, i am sure most of us want the best quality paint job than a rushed job

Hey guys...

Just wanted to let everyone know that the grilles left our hands last night! :rocks:

They should be ready by Monday or Tuesday and get shipped (hopefully) by Wednesday. We are making great time so far, so hopefully no delays get in our way. Thank you for your continued support everyone!

BTW, I found a buyer for my other grille, so no need to worry about helping me get rid of it.

For all of the GB customers:

Sorry for the late replies, we have been out of the office for a couple of days and haven't had much time to be on here!

Here's what has been going on. We got a call from the paint shop saying that their air compressor had shut off and they were waiting for the repair guy. We were about to take the grilles to get painted elsewhere, but after going up and seeing one of the grilles in person, we decided to wait it out.... the paint quality on these things was unreal! He's going to work Saturday/Sunday to make up for the time lost.

The delay shouldn't affect you guys for more than a couple of days at the worst. We were expecting to ship via ground on Wed-Thurs, and now we are going to be shipping mon-tues. We had a nice LONG chat with him to make sure that something like this doesn't happen again.

We are also probably going to ship these express at our cost just to make up for the time delay. We appologize for the wait, and we hope you understand things like these are really out of our control!

I doubt that this delay will affect anyone for more than 2 days or so.
