They will still be making plenty of ice cars after 2035 and for the foreseeable future. All around the world. I guarantee it.

Must admit never heard of an OPF,Otto particulate filter. The catalyser should take care of the 'particulates'.

Last line of the article: "Even if the infrastructure is in place, consumers ultimately have to be willing to adopt electric vehicles, which means companies will also have to be able to maintain reasonable vehicle costs."

This is all predicated on consumers actually buying them.

This is where the Climate Fearer's lack of understanding business, economics and science fail them. They think all this EV technology happens by magic.

Come 2028 I confer the great EV dream will be all but over, the worlds' resources depleting at an alarming rate for the batteries bc there won't be a suitable replacement for the lithium packs. Plenty of oil on the planet to keep things sustainable as they are and a return to sanity.

I fear you put too much faith in our fellow citizens. Just look at what happened in Chicago.

Yes, but Chicago is the ultimate extreme example in the history of our country and probably the world. Yes, there are other extreme examples, but I would put Chicago at the top of that. Either way, my prediction is solely based on regardless of all the laws, these idiots pass, the reality of the situation won’t be able to back up their laws and they will have to reverse them. It won’t be the first time our government or any government stepped into something they know zero about only to have to revert back.

I hope you know I really hope you're right. But I'm highly skeptical based on current society and how things have been moving. NY had a chance to make a change with their governor. We know how that went. The recall of Gascon failing twice. All this stuff going on with crime which I doubt anyone can argue is a problem yet the same people are still in place and doubling down on their failing policies. This is what I'm going on as my gauge as to how the next election might go.

I could be wrong but a guess..about 15% of reps/ dems us or lab v con uk may have green leanings
Both parties have to push through the green agenda to secure those votes. The remainder 85% will vote loyally. Tail wags the dog.
