I made Mac and cheese and dropped a can of wild skipjack tuna. Then proceeded to get a bag of patato chips crunch it up and sprinkle it on top. Added some cow ghee then it was crack from there!

I've had that, many many years ago at the first Tommy's, on Beverly and Rampart Blvd. Was so good. Born and raised in L.A. Don't live there anymore but I'm not too far away.
PS - I see that they still have the chili peppers. Go really good with the chili burgers. |

Made pollo asada tacos on the bbq. Grilled some corn, cut it off the cob, and finished it in a pan on the stove with some ghee, diced onions, and spices for a nice relish. Heated up the tortillas on the grill with cheese on them, then topped with a line of sour cream, avocado, and some fresh cilantro. Came out exactly as I envisioned when I woke up craving it.

My first shot a NY Strip Sous Vide. I miss the thick crust from the sear burner. Perhaps I’ll get better at it. I usually BBq all year long but currently my bbq is surrounded by 2 feet of snow. It Was not all that bad but I usually can equal or best a top steakhouse for quality of cooked steak. Threw the wife’s back for some additional fire. If Anyone who know how to flip the sideways picture please let me know the secret. Last edited by jsf721; 02-14-2021 at 06:44 AM.. |

It's a Valentine Day meal of NZ lamb (already eat) cooked in a Ninja cooker, delicious mango and cream sauce with Idaho Spuds (hash browns) and Chinese green vegetables gently pan fried in coconut oil.
This is the desert of custard Carpathian Mountain Cream Cake (Karpatka) and Hotel Chocolat Everything and of course champers - thanks to my wonderful wife. Last edited by M5Rick; 10-21-2023 at 10:56 AM.. |

Just bought $180 worth of snow crab for my wife and I tonight with some lemon garlic butter. Having some store-bought coconut shrimp with it and to start we'll have home made baguette with olive oil and balsamic and some espresso flavored cheese.
That crab better be worth it - the store charged twice what I usually pay per pound. Came out to 5lbs of crab between us. |

In the first world, we usually throw away meat after a week or so because it goes bad.
My dinner last night was country fried turkey from Cracker Barrel, with dumplings, broccoli, and ocra.....

AGHHHHH YES COUNTRY FRIED. The ole country out west with farms frying it. I usually eat City fried. Traffic light poles, Rough pigeon, Towtruck wheels, and a accountants thick leg with highheels stuck on my meal.
