so i have this friend from UCI, i used to hang with her like ALL the time. like every minute at UCI... not dating status, but plain friend status, good friends nonetheless.

After graduation norcal kids moved up, but she stayed here, but we kinda stopped talking. i flaked a few times on like dinners with everyone and such.

over the years she kinda stopped talking to me, altho i'd call her from time to time, or myspace her, IM her, etc.

first year after graduation i had to miss her bday, but took her out to dinner later to make it up. that was okay

then like never really saw her till her next bday, which i showed up to.

this year i know she had her bday last weekend. so i ask where's ur bday gonna be? she tells me Pachenga, right? and that she has a bday lunch the day after (when i detailed my car with john)

so im like u have all that setup and u never even mentioned it to me, she was like u were gonna flake out anyway!!! so im GEE thanks! i feel very welcomed now. so i tell her im going to go.

then later i decided that's F'd up, and didnt want to go anymore. so i just didnt go to both places. and i thought in all these years she never even cared to ask about my bday (altho i personally dont even care about my bday) she's never called me, IMd me on her own, or anything!!!!

today she IM's me and says " u flaked out again" i said well i thought it would make a difference if i came or not. she said "of course we would have like u there", i said "well i thought i'd spend time with people who appreciate my time more". she said "sorry you feel that way", i said "im sorry i have to feel that way too"
