Looks like at least 4 so far and got PM from another I have to check. If we do it in February I can do 2 at a time in my garages one side is heated. Moving after end of Feb. but staing in Mooresville. I'll post cost of the setup tonight and going to check with Eurowise in Charlotte on Monday for a group buy. There the only place I have seen so far doing it in Charlotte.

In Raleigh I got mine done for $400 at euro motors. They are big time Bmw enthusiast so i bet they would be more than willing to work out a group buy for y'all. Either way good luck

That is such a shame, and so stupid.
I'd gone several times back when I lived in Charlotte and always had a great time.

On the other hand, I know of two other times (IN CHARLOTTE) where the CnC had previously been forced to relocate due to the few who wanted to "do donuts" rather than "eat donuts" and another two times elsewhere.

Maybe the check-in system like done at UNCC is the answer, but you could still have an idiot show off prior to checking in, making me remember how the term Idiot Proof is an unobtainable goal.

Oh well - the good news is that the idiot in question this time, had some Peer Recognition. I laughed so hard when I watched the above video, and realized the people who kept on running in front of the cameraman, blocking the view, where themselves all shooting clips. The police, the insurance company, the store front owner, the drivers family, and every one of the drivers friends and potential girlfriends, will all have a very large selection of videos to choose from.


On the other, other hand, I did some Youtube searching and saw several videos of previous CnCs where cars where showing off (smoking tires etc), during their departure. And a herd of @#$@&$^^ applauding and recording it. So this was not an isolated incident.

Hey guys, it is pretty sad that C&C is cancelled indefinitely and Im really sad to see it go. If you guys in the Charlotte and surrounding areas are still interested in a monthly meet, a friend and I created a small BMW/Euro Meet that we host in Downtown Charlotte Every month for the past 6 months if anyone is interested in that since its a little smaller but a good concentrated BMW group.

Sounds like it was more the accident and not so much the 'misuse of power' that caused the shut down.
