sup guys.... i have a ? for those who snowboard.... my buddy just gave me a board (just the deck) which is brand new with stickers still on it.... its a 2005 burton custom 154.. is this a good board? I heard older customs are stiffer than the new ones and I feel like i would want a softer board...

eh not a bad board to use for first timers....go check on www.brociety.com and www.whiskeymilitia.com they got good deals, they sell shit mad cheap until it sells out. they just had some bindings on there!

i had a burton custom 159, i hated it, it had no flex, and just felt like a boat. i traded it for a lamar 153, and loved the hell out of it. but it could have been the size not the board

yea depends on your height. for beginners you want a shorter board so you can turn easily...i rock a 156 which is right up to my chinny chin chin..
