Bleh. That sucks.

Link your electric jack. I need to watch a 'how to lift this car with jacks' video or two.

And buy some jack pads. And those AESCO (?) jack stands.

I got this one.
It works great. I’m not sure how long it will last.
I hooked it up directly to the jump start points in the engine bay.

Will be handy to get a jack stand under the car or for quick wheel swaps!

To lift the rear, I lift from the differential.

HAHAHA. I saw that and thought “let me edit this and add the link” and then I forgot that too.

ROGTZ Electric Car Floor Jack 3 Ton All-in-one Automatic 12v Scissor Lift Jack for Tire Change Replacement https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075679K9Q...ing=UTF8&psc=1

It’s a 3 ton. Almost got the 4ton because it’s cheaper but didn’t want it to struggle.

I’ll try to upload a video of it.

are you doing all the hard plastics and seats too?

cause I'd be into that.

The rent is too damn high on charcoal e91 interior pieces.

Plastics and expanding rivets, yes.

Seats, no. What seats?

Would the pieces retain the same feel when touching them after being sprayed?

I could, but mostly just for fun. And also for a tire inflator, my right rear wheel needs to be replaced and I don't have the funds to do so right now.

Question for the class:

I've acquired an n54 oil filter housing, oil thermostat, hoses, and oil cooler radiator (along with all the dang screws, nuts, etc.)

I plan to install and mount it on my e91. I'm under the impression that it should be largely plug and play once I drop the bumper. I've also sourced the wheel well vent for the n54 and will cut my wheel well and mount it.

The question I have is: how do I push air into the thing? My e91 stock bumper has a fog light and an air duct headed to the brake area. I can dremel a portion out of it to add airflow into the general cavity in front of the cooler, but don't see much else in the way of options. Full disclosure - I don't need a race car tier solution, this mod is largely intended as belt and suspenders over the engine's existing ability to manage oil temperature via the water pump/radiator. That said, I don't want to just seal the thing up inside the engine bay, either!

Here's a thread where I've seen this done before:

Cleaned and conditioned the seats with chemical guys leather cleaner and conditioner kit. Also, did a quick vacuum.

Not a fan of the glossy conditioner but hopefully by tomorrow morning the seats aren't as glossy.

Thought about cleaning the carpet with a hot water extractor in the summer but the carpet looks new.

I'd say the condition of the interior is a 9.5/10. What do y'all think?

^^ that looks really good, man. Great work!

Oh, one other question - if I just decide to swap the bumper and want ducting for brakes, cooler, and fogs - what are my best options? I'm likely to paint the car some time next year anyway.

The duct for the brakes on cars with coolers is smaller to allow room the cooler duct.
I think you could leave your stock brake air duct in place if you don’t use the duct for the cooler.

So, OEM brake + cooler ducts, leave my fog in place, and install the vent into the wheel well?

Yes. Your front end is the same as any 335i that would’ve had the cooler already in place.
