Yea, turn TC off and do a 3rd gear pull (4th if you feel safe), then cut the before and after data off before graphing.

Switched to 93 map tonight, and did some more logging, this one was on a highway on-ramp. TC off, manual mode. How's it look?

Hi
After a Cobb install on my Stock 2007 335i AT, i got the following code after a couple of miles :

2FA3:
2FA3 Coding missing
Error will not cause a warning light
Error is currently present
Test conditions have been completed

Freeze Frame Information
Event 1Odometer 59520kms 36984miles
Engine speed 0,00 rpm
voltage Kl. 87 12,49 V
status motor control 0,00 0-n
time since start end 0,00 s

2A18:
2A18 DMTL diagnosis module tank leakage, heating: input signal
Error will cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Timeout

Any ideas ?

Cobb work great and the car is very fast !!! AT shifting was much better than stock.

also uninstalled it and checked with BMW program INPA and NO codes and the dates of the ECU were still as stock . Completely untampered. :-)

From what I remember one of the codes you can't get rid of while the AP is installed. However, once uninstalled like you already found out there aren't any tuner or hidden codes stored in the DME.

That's not the code he posted tho - you're referring to 2F85 or something, the "plausibility" code - that the tuner code that stays up all the time. His codes are different (no idea why they're being thrown though).

Yes first code is due to a "married" Cobb.....

New entry of my list is 2A18
A new code found and never see before

The 2FA3 code is a normal background code that occurs while the AccessPORT is installed on a BMW. We will be removing this in a future firmware update. The 2A18 code is due your Italian car not having the same emissions control systems as a USDM car. Is it causing a engine light on the dash?

i'm talking about the "Coding Missing" error code...that one is resolved in the beta firmware i'm running as I don't get any codes any more installing/uninstalling Cobb..unless you're running this pre-release firmware on your car you'll most likely still have it..

that's resolved in beta as well, not sure what Cobb plans in terms of release, maybe along with stage 2 for "offroad" setups?

Yes
Sometimes the mil still on after engine start.
No others particular trouble found. Only this code.
Tnx

You may not know and I should ask Cobb, but is this clearing the way for on the fly map switching? Not that I see a lot of use for it right now, still be kind of cool to have if there was more granularity to boost levels and tunes available.

Fair enough and I completely agree, just wondering if it was a step in that direction.
