Wow! This snowpockalypse is awesome! I just found a CF splitter in the snow!

Sorry, I'm always the one to try and throw some humor in. That sucks, your ride looks awesome in that top pic. Did you lose the splitter all together or will you be able to reattach? Any bumper damage?

The splitter was bolted and when I got under the car everything looked fine. I guess a few too many steep driveways softened it up. This does give me the green light to look for an adjustable splitter.

It should in theory pass the OBDII test since the pre-post O2 sensors only measure the primary cats *BUT* by the rules, no component of the emissions system can be removed so you're at risk of failing the visual inspection with no secondary CATs at all. That said some inspectors may pass you, but I wouldn't take that risk. A secondary CAT gut would be far less risky. (ref 03D .0541 and 03D .0542:

https://connect.ncdot.gov/business/D...s%20Manual.pdf

Also keep in mind that outside of the state safety inspection fed rules prohibit any CAT mods at all for 80,000! miles (ref: sec 6/3:

http://www.epa.gov/otaq/cert/factshts/catcvrts.pdf

I'm not saying don't do it, just keep both in mind.

I'm in Greensboro . I went looking for my tools tonight and found the Burger plug tool+ extensions. I can help you install the Jb4 and plugs this weekend. Most likely Saturday afternoon or Sunday anytime. I can't do the flash but i can offer you some E85 and put it on map5 auto tune . Shoot me a PM where you are located and what works for you .

Sun is shining finally...dont think about possible snow next week lol!

Check some of my gear FS NC crew!

I have several things for sale in the 252 of NC:

- Brand new coated Zimmerman rotors, front, 330/330xi fitment
- 2 sets of carpeted E90 OEM carpets, 1 set new in OEM plastic, 1 used but like new
- OEM E9X indoor/outdoor car cover
- OEM E9X chrome gooseneck shift knob
- Stock angel eyes (85k miles) work great
- Stock fog bulbs (85k) work great

I would consider trades for a torque wrench (mine just broke!), OEM Blacklines, 10' sub in box w/ amp, or other e90 odds and ends you may have lying around.

Feel free to PM Prefer not to ship the heavy/big stuff, thus the post to the regional forum. But as hopefully most buyers are nearby, shipping shouldnt be killer. Triangle/East delivery very doable.

Normally mild, maybe 1 small snow. Generally NC doesnt see that kind of snow. Maybe 2 times a decade.

And when it does snow the whole place shuts down so you normally don't have to go anywhere.

What's a chrome gooseneck shift knob? If that's the stock shifter, I have one layin around along with a sport wheel for sale as well

If anyone is interested, my coworker mentioned this to me. Saturday meet at korman in Greensboro . He said that all sorts of cars show up, not just BMWs. And they will have a dyno there for anyone looking to get one done.

Yup, its the stocker. Tischer et al refer to it as the 'gooseneck' for obvious reasons.

Does anyone here have access to a FedEx or UPS account? I need to ship a tire to Colorado and the quotes I'm getting are ridiculous. The cheapest I've found is $37 from the post office.

Thanks.
