Can't wait for the pure turbo stage 2! My car should be more than capable to handle the additional power now that I have a upgraded clutch, lpfp, and meth. Currently loving my stage 1!

I had my wife make me some stickers with her vinyl cutting machine!

Sweet!

OK guys, let's let the cat out of the bag:

N55 PURE Stage 2 is finished!

We installed it on one of our test cars Friday night. Did some quick late night testing, did more testing today. So far the most we have tried is 20psi straight across to redline. Held 20 no prob. Car is fast to say the least. We are very excited about this one. We plan to install one on our e90 N55 MT this next week for a 2nd test car, and more cars to follow.

We will make a new thread next week with pics of the turbo and all other details.

Subscribed.

I have been waiting for this for a few months now. Almost done putting new kicks on the car then onto this beauty when it's released.

For those with a upgraded lpfp, which stage would suffice since I'll be mixing with 100 octane or E85, on 93? I seen stage one and stage two?

Also, those with the Cobb AP and upgraded stage one turbo, did you get a custom map done?

Yes I ran pure stage 1 with jb4 ff ISO e40 and axle back exhaust for months. Ran awesome. Needed meth for sure or better FMIC though

Did you try it with pump gas?

I might be willing to run a meth system for WOT situations, but I'll be sticking with pump 91 and just want power in the upper band like the twin turbo cars have.

I just installed Pure stage 1 last week. I have Cobb AP with custom PTF tune, and am (im)patiently awaiting new custom map for the new turbo.

I don't have the lpfp upgrade but have investigated it. Check out the Fuel-it stage 2. Skip the stage 1. You can run up to E30 on the stock lpfp but will need lpfp for higher E blends. I'm gonna keep the stock lpfp and play with race fuel blends for higher octane (with new Cobb/PTF map).

That is what I run. It transforms the car, definitely worth doing. just being able to pull to redline is awesome. I hate having to short shift with the stock turbo. It pulls good on map 2 and 93.

You shift at 7k rpm? I still shift at 6.5k rpm with the stage1 turbo though
Maybe that will change with stage2 turbo!

Stage 1 is good for supplementing the fuel system beyond what the HPFP can handle. Probably 600hp. Only issue there is that it's not rated for E85. Many people have been running E for years on them though with no issues. My only concern might be the internal filters getting gunked up if the car sits for long periods of time without pickling the fuel system with 93. If you don't mind tinkering with your car yourself I don't see any issue in doing the stage 1 to save some money. Definitely go with FuelIt. SteveAZ is great to work with.

If I want to hear it wail, then I shift at 7k, but if I am going to for times then I shift at 6.5k. A hell of a lot better than shifting at 5.3k like the stock turbo!

Ok. Along with it I have the Dinan stage 3 software, and the associated Dinan mods. 3.46 LSD. No downpipe. Yet. After sorting out some plumbing issues, and a well timed serpentine belt failure, all I have to say is wow. I'll have more to say in a few days.

So you dont have a BEF or JB4? You are leaving a lot of power on the table.
