Mine should be arriving tomorrow and hopefully I can get them installed Friday. Can anyone confirm the fitment of the OPT7 LED bulbs in the rolling gears headlights? My concern is the end of the bulb is too big to fit in the opening because it is too big on my current headlights.

The problem for me isn't the dome cover to seal from moisture but the slit that the bulb slides into the projector isn't big enough for the circular top of the bulb to fit in. I can't even get the bulb in to lock it down. I have an idea on how to make it work but I have to wait until my headlights get here.

If that doesn't help, contact seller. My seller was pretty responsive before and after buying the headlight.

Thanks, I checked them. Unfortunately they both run off of the same power source, one works and one does not.. frustrating.
I like the way they look however. Just wish they were 100% functional. Did yours come with the rhetoric extra cap and plug for auto leveling? |

Contact the seller, hopefully they will help you out. I guess this is always a risk with these non-OEM vendors and products... but I've been pretty happy with mine.

So the headlights came a little bit ago. I pulled one out to check it out and see if the LED bulb fits. They look awesome and the OPT7 bulb fits perfect! I'm a little worried about having to leave the cap off the back of the lens though. I plugged in a light with the LED bulb to see how it looked and I can't wait to put it all together.
I'll also be installing the Daeos harness to get angel eyes as running lights since I have FRM1. Here's some pics and more to come once installed. View post on imgur.com Last edited by noah.s; 10-20-2016 at 05:27 PM.. |
