Perhaps you should relax. I've also read your question a few posts up and I too didn't find it to make much sense. I'm not sure what kind of "got ya" you are going for here. Just stop wasting our time and come out and say it. Also, as someone who has never paid for any product or service, i'm not sure why you are unhappy with us. You aren't running a Procede. You are happy with your current tune. As you are with your current meth kit. And I'm honestly happy for you. Just get on with life and enjoy!

oh I know. I just noticed that he purchased it used from BMS, not from us or any of our dealers.

ttbmer-- I understand your frustration. But please don't email Shiv if you want a quick response. This thread alone has generated around 500 emails for him in the last week. So he wont be caught up any time soon. Please email sales@vishnutuning.com for quicker response. Or better yet, just call us toll-free during business hours and someone can help you immediately.

That is the fun stuff (sarcasm). As soon as the rain stops, I'll test these new maps in both our 6MT and another 6AT we have here (with older software). I have a sneaky suspicion that it will work as expected.

Some of you guys who have the newest software have been experiencing bad timing curves after the upshift. But it turned out to be an easy fix. Here is a datalog taken from this morning on this 6AT customer car:

I want to test this new map in our car with slightly older DME software to confirm that it works just as well. If possible, we don't want to have different maps for different software versions. I'll be testing this tonight.

And in case you are wondering if you have the newest DME software version, press and hold your DTC button for 3 seconds. If you get this icon on the screen, you do

Can you repost those pics? Showing a photobucket error

[edit] ok looks like it's fixed

Shiv, with the knowledge you've collected and experience with sniffing CANBus packets, can you introduce a channel for us Procede users to display the DME version we have on the Procede software?

This way we can know what software we are running on our cars with the tune. Makes diagnostics even better for us tunning and diagnosing problems that arises.

Emails went out 20 min ago. If you emailed me requesting the maps a few days ago, you should have them coming your way.

Why would you want a tune to do this since the value is pretty static unless you are getting an update every day...

Take your key into a service center and have them read it and give you a key print out. The info you are looking for is printed on the page.

Map #1, default values.... 3rd gear -> 4th

I really like DIC maps (I haven't try no-dic yet)... They're more linear than my (loved) 1-17 and the car works great...
Don't matter about actual ign adv drops: as u can see in last graph, traction control cut throttle (damn i had DTC ON!).

@Shiv: can i try map2??

PPK Fan Relay Interference with PWM Injection Kit

I fear that the location of the fan relay on models fitted with BMW's optional power performance kit (PPK) -- and those models on which it is standard (335is, Z435is and 1M) -- may preclude use of the PWM kit.

For those interested, take a look at the diagram on page 16 of the linked PPK installation instructions.

http://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/att...6&d=1260466979

EDIT: I just looked at close-up picture of the N54 in the 1M and the fan relay has been relocated (can't tell where). This may also be the case on the 335is and Z435is, so it looks like the PWM kit *may* fit these models. However, it does not appear that it will fit -- without revision -- those models in which the PPK components were not incorporated in the "standard" package and where the PPK kit was later added as an option.
