I heard from my CA this morning that my car was released to the trucking carrier and is expected at the dealership tomorrow May 27th!!!!!:rocks:
The Service Dept. is closed on Monday (as are most, I expect), and he said the car will be ready for pickup Tuesday if it arrives on schedule tomorrow.

I know... I know. And here's the sad part... I'm actually a real amateur photographer... complete with a sh*t-load of high-end gear. The car is not exactly "clean" as I've succeeded in putting on about 100 miles thus far... but I am going to start with the photos VERY soon... I hope today or tomorrow.

Work has been tough this week... so finding the day-time sunlight hours to take good photos (because I can't bring myself to taking bad ones) has been a bit tough.

I hear you. I am taking delivery without any interior or exterior detail because I want to do it myself (it's Black Sapphire), so the pix we take at delivery will be with LOTS of stickers and other stuff attached to the car.

Assuming I pickup the car on Tuesday, I will take Wednesday off and detail it, and the photos will come after that!!!

Well just got off the phone with my CA said my car is supposed to be delivered on Sunday. He said I might be able to pick it up as early as Monday afternoon if this is the case.

I am soooo stoked!!! Will post pics once I get her bathed and ready for her photo shoot.

Yours must be coming in early enough for them to take care of it tomorrow; either that or your Service Dept. is open on Monday!!! Either way, congrats!!!

OMG this is killing me. I want to drive by the dealership and see if I can get a glimpse of my car. But I am worried about jinx-ing it. You know, like seeing the bride before the wedding? Ok, I know, I am sick. I need help. My Dr. said to take a BMW 335i Coupe, several times a day, and I will be fine...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!:rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks:

Has anyone gotten a delivery call? Tadders & MyE93, you folks are in Phoenix too, has your CA called yet? The trucks with cars from Carmen are overdue, at least at my dealership.

I too am anxiously awaiting delivery of my 335i sedan. I did ED and dropped off on 04/19. It was aboard Carmen, which landed in Port Hueneme on 05/21. My CA said it usually takes 10 days to get to the dealership, but I can't wait any longer... I see there are some other AZ folks aboard Carmen and I am curious to know if you have been given a pick-up date yet.

I got a call yesterday saying that they were expecting the car either yesterday or today. Heard nothing else yesterday so I'm assuming it never showed. Fingers crossed for the call today.

Dang, I thought for sure when I got back from vacation, there'd be a ton of pics posted of delivered cars!

Got the call this afternoon! Hoping to pick her up tonight. Have to call my CA in a half hour or so to make sure everything is set! If so, I'll be heading out in 56 minutes! Not that I'm counting or anything!

Man, after all this time, it's hard to believe it's almost over!!!!!

Hey everybody,

Here are the photos I just took. No pre-delivery detail on my black car. I will be doing it myself tomorrow (vacation day!!!). So stickers and dust from the truck are still intact, just the way I wanted them, along with all the stickers plastic and everything else in the interior!!! They grey poplar wood is awesome but photograps funny in the sun! I'll get some better shots later...Front reflectors will go tomorrow also...

Oh and anyone following the air-oil cooler threads, mine has it, right where it's supposed to be, right in front of the passenger side front wheel.

The drive home was AWESOME!!!

Ok, so this is the first ive seen of this thread. My car is supposed to be on a ship and on the way to California. How and where did you guys get all this detailed info about what ship your car was on and where it was? I would really like to know all of this about my car.
