If you haven't done so yet, you better get on it. They are moving to make those really good brownies and related items only available to Dutch citizens.

Another request of Nick was to get 4-5 guys to pre-pay to make sure they wouldn't show up for nothing. Not sure why...but it's a request. We can call Nick at 763-432-5448. If there are more than 20 cars, they'll just give the $10 refund.
Which day are we doing this again? sorry fellas I keep forgetting. If I am in town for it, I will pre-pay.

Martin don't get that dovetail CSL crap man. The replicas that I've seen look like absolute shite. I say go for the OEM LCI trunk.

I'm with Anvar and Nick, the standard LCI trunk and the Mtech rear bumper will look awesome Did you look at the Euro spec taillights with the amber turn signals? I almost want to get those for my car - having an amber blinker is much more obvious to those behind you than a red one.

Martin what have you found out regarding pricing? For instance, I'd like to know how much a LCI OEM Trunk would cost...figure $300 to get paint.. $400 for lights?

Speaking of tail lights, when I was driving behind my car the lights were on and I will say that the LED light bars don't match the brake lamps at all; I didn't like how they looked.

I kinda wish they just took the 7-10's rear laps (with the amber) and just added the LED brake lamps to that setup.

Nick
I've never understood it either. It can't be a regulation as the same model will flip between red and amber with LCI updates or model changes. Either way I prefer amber.

I dig the LED brake lights and blinkers on the new E92, however, I think I prefer the 3 narrow bars for the tails over the two new thicker bars.

Hey Martin... I say go for the CSL trunk, if you can afford the real thing. Love the look of it, don't listen to these other haters.

Didn't know there was a "real" version. Thought all the CSL trunks were IMHO crappy replicas of the E46 M3 style

Tischer quoted me around $480 for the trunk. The US-Spec tail lights would go for $500. The Euro-spec is not worth the extra money just because of the amber.

I was thinking about this. I tried to get a hold of Karbonwerke but no one is replying to my emails. They don't have a number posted on their website.

Damn those ones look amazing! I would totally want that one the blueish E90 had on that site...except the price is a bit high. Very very high.

Do you mean the amber turn signals? If so, you can't really tell the difference as the lens is red too, so you see only amber when they are lit.

You use your car today Nick? Lovely day for a drive lol

+1. UK Top Gear is the only one I and will ever watch. The US Top Gear presenters I've never heard except for Tanner Foust. He hosts some show about expensive sports cars on Speed.

On the EAS website, it's about $200 for the Euro. Only difference is the turn blinkers. Lights red in the US, amber for Euro.

I agree it is not as good as the British top gear is at the moment, but to play the other side, the british top gear started out as a straight forward and rather boring car review show. I say give it a season or so to see if these guys can find their feet. I think the problem is that they might be trying too hard to mimic the British version. I almost think that they should be given a bit more freedom to bring out American style humor and cars. America does have a great history and legacy of muscle cars and stuff that they can ride on. Just my humble opinion.

Lame

I agree, they are trying too hard to replicate the British version, from the content right down to the presenters own behavior. Even the segment with the Cobra "chasing" the STR-10 was a copy of the original where they had an Apache "chasing" a Lotus a few years back. I'll give it a few more episodes, even though that guy with the glasses and beard is rather irritating to me

PS On the Suzuki that features in Big Star Small Car, did anybody notice that Buzz's hands didn't leave the wheel during his lap? So is it an auto? I could've sworn when the three presenters went for a lap they were shifting

Wow, $200 extra for amber turn signals? That's a bit extreme!

You don't hear of the plow trucks spinning out too much! I stayed home, but my gf had to go to work and said the same thing, 30 mph all the way.

Today I had a nice commute getting sprayed with nice chunks of fresh salt. On days like this I wish my whole car was covered in a clear bra lol
