Aloha E91 Enthusiasts!
I've had my new to me 2009 E91 for about three years. Part of the reason I purchased an E91 was the completely amazing sharp rides that can be found here in this thread.
I've completed only a few minor modification to the sports wagon and feel bold enough to share. Please be kind... The E91 is Tasman Green with 17" style 285 wheels with a manual transmission and Xenon headlights. The other key reasons I purchased the car was for the 6 speed manual. Vary rare in the USA. The car came with comfort access and saddle brown leather and a few other amenities. I've added 12/18 mm (front/rear) spacers, BMW window shades for the back and two small rear windows, as the car came with the rear passenger window shades and I thought I'd match them. I also have new Bridgestone RE050A II 225/45R17 on all four corners and upgrade LED angle eyes. Without any further ado... Here are some pictures: Aloha!

Hello all, since I couldn't find an introduction section I figured I would introduce myself in this thread since it's the one I've found myself most frequenting since joining. I just recently purchased a unicorn and I couldn't be happier with it. I managed to stumble upon a 2008 e91 RWD in alpine white over terra with a 6 MT and a load of other options. I'm also fairly certain the car was a euro delivery which is pretty cool as well. I'm somewhat familiar with the e90 platform as my brother drives a 07 FBO 335i and a ZHP before that. I've always admired BMW's. I am coming from another somewhat unicorn car, a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT wagon which is currently stage 3 with around 300 awhp. Unfortunately it's an auto and I wanted something a little more refined. Hence my most recent purchase. I also own a 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster. I'm looking forward to building my new wagon up step by step with lots of inspiration from this forum. I'm looking forward to learning some more about the cars as well. And now, some pictures

They are by far the best ive had. Unfortunately i havnt had the chamce to experience kw's etc Due to funds.
But for the money of bc coilovers they full fill all my needs. Drives much better then m sport but that can also be due to not running run flats. But loads of adjustment can be made. Ive had them on my e46 m3 and they where bang on. Injust covered 2500 travelling around europe and i can not fault them. Just be sure to have uprated top mounts as i found out after that my original ones were no good. I went for powerflex 12mm ones in the end and solved that problem straight away. |

Very nice. I also have some BC BRs waiting to put on so I will be sure to replace the top mounts. Good to hear they are working well.
I can't see them being that much different to KW V2s in terms of performance. Do you have a link to the powerflex top mounts you used? Last edited by donR; 05-23-2015 at 04:53 AM.. |
