Hello, I have had my 330i touring for 5 years. Ibought it at 18 months lod. It is now a bit of a mess. scratches, dents, worn leather on the drivers seat. CCC knackered so no radio, no sat nav, no parking sensors. It is however the most fantastic car to drive. Silky in line six. Solid controllable handling. How I hate BMW though for putting substandard electronics in the CCC unit. WTF.

Hello all, I have been reading the forum pages for a while now so should introduce myself.

I am now on my 3rd 3 series, e36 323i coupe, e46 330ci, and now e90 320d. My first 4 cylinder BMW. I have had it 5 months now done 6k miles and enjoying the comfort and economy, sort of (not used to rattles). Still missing the sound of the 330 to be honest, but on the other side I have economy!!

So far I have replaced the wiper relay, new windscreen as the original cracked whilst on the motorway, fixed misted head light. Removed 1 rattle from the dash.

Need to sort disappearing LCD display on radio, remap, better speakers. Service due before any of the above happen though!

Hi all just bought an e91 12 plate 318d m sport in space grey, pro nav and heter leather

So before I post a load of Qs in the wrong place and annoy you all maybe you can direct me to the right part of the forum ( as there's loads!! Good job all)

Firstly it's got 6k on the click and prev owner git the service pack so it's serviced til 60k and has 2 years warranty. It has the dull angel eyes. The garage has said they can upgrade the lights alone fr £54! If i change the headlights and angel eye bulbs myself will it void the warranty?

Second - pro nav looks awesome (don't collect car for 4 weeks ) the dealer has told me the last disk is Europe pro 2012 - where do I find the manual or spec, I hear some of them have speed cameras on them?

3 - it has a USB and jack- if I get a hard drive will I be able to navigate through the music folders using idrive?

4 garage said my ipod will run on idrive without the cable I've seen (plug iPod cable/carger straight Ito USB ) is this the case

5 what the h3ll does cic mean ????

6 it has folding mirrors - will they fold when I lock it'll will I need to code it - how?

Hi Guys,

Finally got round to registering after doing a fair ammount of lurking prior to buying an E92 335i in monaco blue. The sites been a great help for information and for planning the mods that will undoubtedly happen.

Previous cars are a Peugeot 106 1.1 then a Skoda Fabia vRS (185bhp, 295 lbs.ft). The Skoda was fully polybushed, RARB, Strut Brace, KW V1 Inox coilovers, Audi TT Front brake upgrade, Samco boost/vacuum/coolant pipes, Forge machined aluminium couplings and an Angel Tuning Remap.

However when it came to deciding on whether to put more money into the Skoda or opt for a new car, the 335i won hands down so after about 4 months of looking and waiting for my 21st so the insurance was reasonable I finially got one

thought i would make my first post, recently got my hands on a 2009 LCI E91 335d Msport!

It had a few dandy extras including
Individual Audio,
Remote Auxillary Heating,
Electric Towbar
Active Steering

which are all pretty awesome...and thats before you floor it

Only bad thing is that I seem to be having problems getting it above 30mpg

I live nearly Milton Keynes not sure if any one one here does , I had lovely E92 330d till start of the month when it got wrote off but I've replaced it with a lovely e92 335d but I've taken a boat load of photos so if rather post those up in a build thread so I can show pics of old ride and other ride and new one

Morning guys & gals.

I've been floating around the forum for a month or so now whilst I've was waiting for my existing car to sell, which it it did for a rather handsome price. Coming from a host of sports cars the prospect of buying a diesel was quite scary but the bun in the wifes oven wouldn't allow me to keep a two door GTI.

Anyway I picked up a 59 plate 320d M-Sport in Bluewater last week. Really happy with the motor so far although there are a few issues I want to sort out. The boot lid seems slightly out of alignment for some reason and I can't find any evidence of accident repair. Paint readings are more or less the same all around the car, no overspray etc. The steering lock has stuck once too which seems to be an issue but it came of fine when I took up the tension in the wheel.

The car has already been remapped by DMS and but I'm going to put it on a rolling road to get an idea of how well everything is performing. I'm not totally convinced the map is still present but that may be down to a significant performance drop form my last car. We shall see.

Got a boot lip in the post and a full machine polish is on the cards once my wrist comes out of the cast

only had it 3 days but i had the garage change the wheel colour as they where black at the dealers , so i wanted them painted grey and this is how it looks

oh i kmow it isnt a M3 the plate come with the car and my own reg going on so not trying to make people think its a M3

Hi guys,

My names Matt, for my sins i have owned pugs all my life. Had a china blue 306 gti 6 for four years, then finally got the itch and purchased a 306 rallye. Had Ap racing brakes cams and was all fully rebuilt.

I now have a 07 320d m sport in titanium silver. I have started working on the car with regards getting it how i want it. I have a BW chiptune map at around the 205bhp mark. Just got myself a new 316ss custom twin tail pipe tip to replace the horrid down faced exhaust tip.

I have also just purchased some Darkline lights for the rear to bring it up to my standards. I now want to refurb the wheels in anthracite to make it look a bit sharper. Plus with the remap declared i didnt want to add more to the insurance premium. I may just get some spacers to create a better stance.

newbie

had my 335i since august but just been observing the forums until now. got a few plans lined up for the beast but waiting until warranty finishes august!

had a few BMs in past and carnt get it out of my blood. had a supercharged compact all done to the 9s, then a clubsport, and now the 335i. all amazing cars and loving every minute of the twins ATM. ill put a few pics up of my past and ill have a few pics coming of the E92 soon.
