No, never saw that... it's for the radio? $40 is a bit high, then I would need two so both sides are matchey, then the radio knobs are worth more than the rest of the car!

In the process of buying a 2011 335i - Performance Package car too! (ZMZ)
70K miles, last month of production for the sedan (10/2011), so should have the updated HPFP/OFHG.

Space gray / black, steptronic with premium 2, sport, heated seats, and iDrive. Really excited to be back after driving the F10 around for the past 2 weeks - it’s a really nice boat but I missed the E90…

Last step will be getting it shipped from California back to GA - anyone have any recommendations for shipping companies?

Nexus auto transport is one I’ve used a few times and everything went smoothly.

Yea it's the volume and tuning knob.

Definitely overpriced item. Just wanted to bring your atttention to it in case you come across a used set somewhere.

Anybody want to double check my realOEM search and confirm that an '06 325xi 4wd MT comes with 3.38 gears. (it says 3.91 for AT, and nothing explicit for the other entry with 3.38)

Probably have time to jack it up and count turns, but if I can pick one up immediately from the salvage yard I might try to hork it in there this weekend.

It's been making some pretty awful noise the last few weeks. It's more than a little peculiar. It only sings and whimpers in cold weather. As soon as the temps started dipping into the low 30s and 20s it started making all sorts of noise. Has been silent (inside the car) all summer long.

Even more peculiar is that it's still intermittent. Sometimes it's noisy, sometimes it's quite. As soon as I get it up to highway speed it quiets down. Then sometimes it starts singing when I slow down, sometimes it stays quiet.

Didn’t know people did this with those hoods!

They sell an e9x M3 fiberglass power dome.
I need to order it and put it on!

Tools used to remove dashboard and all screws/nuts/bolts that had to come out.

My sales brochure from 2006 says 325Xi MT has 3.23 final drive ratio, AT 3.73. 325I is same. 330i/xi MT 3.15 , AT 3.64.
Not sure why realoem shows different.

I never noticed that difference until you mentinoned it. Mine are solid no gaps. Previous owner were avid skiers, so maybe they added a beefier rail? Mine still use the same Oem bmw racks so likely an OEM option?

I would assume it to be OEM+ as that would be a weird item for any aftermarket company to just randomly make and try to market. Going to have a search…

It was an option in 2011 for low pro rails.
In mid to late 2011 to 2012 they were standard on all cars, unless you got the rail delete option.

I think the roof racks are different for each set of rails. All is oem.
