reduced power "turbo pressure low??"
just a few days ago i got the reduced power code. i figure it was going to be a fuel pump problem since it has been the problem with most people who've all received the reduced power code. so i brought the car in today for service expecting to get a call from my SA in the afternoon that it was the fuel pump and it has been changed and the cars ready. but when i received the call i got something i wasn't expecting. he explained to me that the code was thrown because the turbo pressure was to low? has this happened to anyone else. i've tried searching but can't seem to find a thread to give me an answer. btw my car had the turbo tuner installed at the time of the code. and so also wondering if the turbo tuner had to do with the low pressure?
thanks in advance for any help from anyone who could shine a little more light onto what happen

I've had the same error message. I got my 320d at the end of september this year, and now after 4500 KM i got the error message. After a visit to the dealer they told me that something was wrong with the turbo. It seemed to be a problem that occurs more often as they had trouble with getting the spare parts in time.

I got my car back.
They told me it was a known issue with the 3 serie turbo, but they didn't explain what the problem was. They just said it was an 'electrical malfunction'. I've tried searching on the internet to see if it did accur more often but couldn't find anything so far. My dealer is VanderKerckhoven in Belgium. |
