Looking for someone with Cobb Accesspoint in CT
I am looking for someone in Connecticut or someone in NY close to CT who has a Cobb Accesspoint who would be willing to flash my ECU for me with the Stage 1 93 Octane Map. I would be willing to pay whomever was able to do this. Please PM me.

If you want to travel a little further I can help but it's VERY VERY easy.
Just plug it in and follow the prompts to install. Takes about 15. |

Go buy yourself one for 800 bucks like the rest of us.
EDIT: I think I misunderstood..... you already have an AP and are looking for some help with install. I'm so sorry. |

You're not alone. I thought the same thing at first but nobody in their right mind would install their own AP on a strangers vehicle so I can only assume at that point he just needs help installing his own.

Nope Seymour boost, you would be correct the first time around. I want to pay someone to flash my ECU with their accessport. I don't see why the attitude though? Maybe I just want to test the waters before I actually pay 800 for the accessport. I would definitely want the accessport if I was impressed/satisfied with the tune. Also, whoever did this for me would be getting paid to do it so its a win win for both parties involved.
Also, I have some buddies with Subarus and I know that people in that community flash each others ECUs all the time. It would in no way effect the person who owns the accessport except they would be making money. |

Like others have posted, Cobb is VIN locked. If Cobb had a device that can flash unlimited cars, how would they make any money when everyone can just use 1 device? There are various flashes that you make be seeking that are not VIN locked, ie alpina flash, or the "opened sourced" one from the website which we cannot name lol.

Cobb has 30 day money back guarantee. Try that.
BTW if the tune is installed it is locked to that car and can only be used on another car if the first car had the tune Uninstalled. |

You won't be disappointed with the Cobb. It provides a great tune and is very easy to log, etc. I have no regrets going that route. Just have your car running in tip-top shape before the install so you can enjoy your extra power. |
