Fitting tyres
I got a good deal on some tyres. Now I need to find a place to fit them. I haven't enquired anywhere yet, but what's a typical price to get a pair of rear tyres fitted\swapped? I've always bought tyres and had them fitted at the same time in the past.
Thanks |

Ive also got a small local place that does it for a Fiver a tyre. Ask around locals/mates etc....im sure someone will know somewhere. Id also question the quality of work you are getting for £22.50 a tyre at Kwik Fit! Certainly not a £17.50 better job a corner thats for sure! |

Jeez that's expensive, in Leeds / Bradford / Bolton / Manchester it's no more than a fiver a corner
Find any place sells part works I'm sure they won't charge much more |

Most places up here take £12-15 each.
Pick a good place rather than the cheapest if you don't want your wheel marked. If you have a good alloy wheel dealer or a wheel refurbishment place nearby they usually have good equipment. |

Yes I don't want an unbalanced or damaged wheel exploding on the motorway.

X2 king david which has a chain of tyre shops around me charged me £15 (not cheap) a wheel and marked my alloy for free as they used a crow bar to get the runflat off. Needless to say wont use again and woll use a mobile guy who guarantees not to mark alloy, runs bolts by hand and uses a torque wrench rather than blastin them on with an air gun and bollocking them tight with a long bar.

I was quoted £13 a corner, then when I got to pay it was +vat, +valve +disposables.
Feckers stung me £52 for 2x 18" I went mental but got told it was 'standard rate' and they would take them off again if I wanted. I was waiting on them to leave for a weekend away so reluctantly paid but will never use them again. Don't go to Malvern Tyres!
