Any V2 uses miss the torque of 1.47

One of the things I did not like about my M3 was the need to get into the high rev range to get power. It just did not happen much in daily driving sans freeway onramps. What I love about V1.47 is the incredible low end torque. Now I know that it is not ideal because it is difficult to keep the tires planted etc. etc., but for just the visceral thrill I'm not sure I want to give it up, especially if the V2 is not stable. I have not had a single limp mode of CEL with 1.47.

My hope is that with the new maps coming out I will get both. Crunch time is coming because I have had V2 on order for a couple of months now.

The torque was really nice with the V1.47, But i didn't like the sudden thrust of power....It was too much and felt like there was a big lag, with V2.02 there seems to be a fluid smooth burst from start to finish...Everybody has there own preference, but i feel like that much torque at once can eventually damage the AT

I miss the torqeu of 1,47, all that easy access power at low rpm.
There should be a mix map 1, 47 / 2.02 with the advantages of both

Garage List
So right now, is it worth it to put my v2 in or should I wait till 2.03 comes out? It's sitting right next to me, but I'm not sure if I should just hold off for now. I love my car the way it is with v1.47

There is no reason to wait...the torque is still there but that sudden rush is gone and its much smoother...Maybe its that sudden rush that makes people's head snap, makes people feel that V2.02 doesn't offer....but remember its not a smooth acceleration, so people mistake it for less torque...Its a smooth linear pull as suppose to gas wait a second than BAM..head snap feeling...If i were u i would install it
