Manually Bleed Coolant

Is there a way to manually bleed cooling system on 07 n54?

My stock bleeder screw broke, so I bought a new. I noticed the stock one has a pin hole on top, but my new one doesnt. I assume the small pin hole so it can bleed the air out? Or does it matter if there is a pin hole or not?

I dont want to bleed the system automatically and there is no way for the air to go out so something else blows out.

I have to wait for them to send me another one.

You bleed the coolant via the water pump procedure with the reservoir cap off. As far as I'm concerned the bleeder screw is not required. I wasn't aware of any pinhole and I think it would leak pressure unless it was just a vacuum breaker with some type of check valve to prevent pressure loss. Either way I wouldn't worry about it.
