Rolling Road
Afternoon Chaps,
Right Im getting the car mapped soon with a Bluefin via Superchips and before I go installing any software etc I would like to get the power figures before and after. Yes I know I can pretty much guaranty they will be pretty spot on but its always nice to know your running healthy power before and after, no? So Ive had a quote from Dyno Drive in Warrington and they said a run is £100+vat which i thought was bloody dear considering on a RR day its £30 go figure. So whats a ball park figure and most importantly where else could I go. Oh and if anybody fancies a BMW RR day hahahahaha.

Awesome GTi in Irlam. Not far from Warrington. I'm pretty sure they are nowhere near that price.
I took my ed30 on a RR day years ago and was about £30 Check their website |

I'll be up for something like that if we can arrange a group day.

Well I went to another place local and they said £99 but thats two runs without the car leaving the Dyno, also he seemed very sceptical of the figures Superchips quote.
Anyway I could try and organise a day if you like?

Kev id agree but they are a Jap outfit so don't think they'd be to bothered about figures from Superchips. it was just a sea of Toyota Glanza's outside the place hahahaha.
Luton is just a ridiculous distance to travel for what Im after, lets not forget I already had the Bluefin so its not like Im paying £400+, Im only paying £232 + what ever to send it back to me.

Thor racing offer a rolling road and also do the hub read outs to so they will give you, your bhp at the fly wheel and at the hub.
I took my BMW cooper S works there when there was an organised mini meet there and very friendly. I will enquire there tomorrow when I'm back in work and get the costs for a group discount. |
