FS: Winter Wheel Setup - Pirelli Sottozero/Rial Salerno 17" TPMS included
All,
I have a full setup for winter that I was using on my e92 335i xDrive (2009). 17" Rial Salerno wheels (silver), with Pirelli Sottozero 225/45 R17 94V, and TPMS for 2009. Mounted, balanced, ready to go. I give these one good winter left on them. Tread is 6/32 to 5/32 on all four. Wheels: I've had these for two years and when I bought them, I took all of them to a rim straightener in Allston to start off right. Only 1 needed some correction. So all 4 are in good shape, sans minimal rash on 2 of them. But they are winters, so I didn't really care that much. No cracks or bends. Asking $275. Nice wheels, plus TPMS, and a free set of winters for a season. Oh, and some OEM BMW tire valve caps Pickup local in Beacon Hill. |

275 for 4 wheels with the winter tires mounted right? If so, sold. I will have to mount them and drive if that is ok? I don't want to find one is bent.

Torgus, please explain to me why I would let you take my wheels, drive away, and not pay for them until you are satisfied. First I'm ever hearing of this type of request and it's ridiculous.
I paid $375 for this setup 2 years ago, 1 was bent, I had it fixed for $50. There may be a slight vibration at 90+ MPH, but I feel the same thing on my summers so I can't guarantee it's not the alignment. I want a quick sale, I'm not lending these to someone to try before they buy. These are cheap, they are a full set and ready to go. $275 and you get the wheels/tires/tpms. Cards on the table. |

Because I would be leaving my bbs wheels at your house, and I would expect you to come along for the 2 minute drive. I did the same thing when I bought my 20s, I'm not going to get stuck with a bent rim. You already said there was a bent wheel which makes one wonder and not all shops will/can get them true again. Only way is to drive on the rims at highway speeds.
You seem like a peach to deal with. I pass. Last edited by Torgus; 09-14-2014 at 10:50 PM.. |
