HPF exhaust tips hanging low?

No matter what I do I can't get the exhaust tips to sit in a decent position, they hand low. Anyone else have this issue with the HPF exhaust?

Yea I think it is common when I was thinking of buying an HPF exhaust I searched a few threads, there were a few responses where it was mentioned about how low it hung and easy to scrape.

How does it sound? I went with the Cobb exhaust they had a smoking deal on it. It looks amazing and sounds great to boot not overly loud but since I am Katless the gas smell does bug me

I haven't scraped to much, only issue I had was the AR dps where not positioned correctly and when exhaust was tightened pulled dp off turbo slightly causing exhaust leak. Dps have to be in perfect position with this exhaust. This exhaust gets a bad rap, it's not that loud and not that much drone?

Would it make different if you swap the hanger from left to right and vise versa?
How bad is its sound? And compare to your previous setup?

I need to see pics of the mid section mounting bracket and the two rear brackets. Also, pics of the red rubber stoppers. That is not normal...

Damn man... everything looks right... The only thing I can think of is the turn angle of that second to last section. The one with the resonator. Also, that "isolator" is complete shit, unbolt it from both sides cut all the rubber crap off and get an 1.5" nut and bolt, I used skateboard bearing spacers to fill the gap, and tighten her down. The rubber on the isolator will tear off in a few months.

My mid section slightly touches inside tunnel.... AR dps I believe are to blame as they put the Y-pipe in that position

I could use a solid bushing.

Anything that's solid and you put a nut and bolt all the way through it works. That rubber piece doesn't have any support through it so it tears and falls apart. Plus, it doesn't really isolate anything lol.

If you rework the isolators I would use two pieces of isolating material if you have the room, one on each side of one of the tabs, with a longer bolt... done DIY motor mounts for a Studebaker that way, same design but bigger, they're loaded in tension & always rip the driver's side apart. with two pieces of rubber then it'll isolate no matter which way the exhaust is moving relative to the body; with only one, if the exhaust is hanging you'll have direct metal to metal transmission of vibrations through the bolt.

I got the tips better today but the pipe right after Y-pipe hits tunnel slightly and it is due to the placement of the AR Dps. No matter what, when you bolt the AR Dps to the Y pipe it pulls the exhaust over, even if you adjust and loosen the dps 1st.
