Catless Downpipes In
Quick update:
We just our Riss Racing catless downpipes (thanks Adam!). Installation was straight-forward. First time install took about 2hrs. Not much in the way of tuning yet (we are being hit by heavy rainstorms right now). But the car did throw a P420 Catalyst Inefficiency code within 10 miles of driving So we do have some work to do! Will keep you guys posted... Cheers, Shiv |

Sound during cruise and light low boost isn't much different than what it was with the stock downpipes. Under full boost, however, the sound is a bit more raspy. The rain is so bad, I couldn't even rev it out to redline so further testing will have to wait for another 2-3 days

Sweet, I'm getting my V2 hopefully sometime next week or so, along with my HFC UR DPs and UR exhaust installed. Glad to hear progress. Overall, this news is good Hope the rain clears soon, but then that rain will probably turn to snow here lol....

Old ECU software doesn't read the O2 sensors correctly. There was a BMW recall to update the ECU to correctly read the O2 sensors. I had that update, so I'm sure I'll throw a code when I eventually get my RR pipes and have them installed.

It is gonna be snow. I know we are supposed to see one of the largest snow storms of the season here in SLC.

Cut the tuner vs. tuner crap out. Discuss the on-topic subject at hand, or move on.

No tuner war, no jb vs procede... just a simple ON TOPIC question...
When will the procede have its o2 simms activated? Currently its not possible until shiv programs it and lets us know how to wire it up... and cars with the new progman WILL throw codes. I peronally know of someone who is running a procede with catless downpipes and was going to get the burger simms, because although o2 simulation is supported by the procede, there is no instructions for activating it yet AFAIK. I am sure he would prefer to not have to buy a seperate product if he knew the procede could do it... just looking for a general time frame, so I can let him know that he doesnt need to buy anything |

My Riss DP's will arrive, as soon as some of you members quit talking about them and fill the open spots needed to start fabrication. As of yesterday, there were 9 orders needed to begin frabrication.

haha.......of course you would, you're from Riss Racing. Asthetically, your pipes are the prettiest, and yours dont have welds all over the place like the UR ones. But whatever

Dont forget that they are magical and make like 50wtq ... You left that part out... Eisenmann race is also one of the prettiest exhausts out there for example and it sounds like doo doo, fits like poo poo and performs like an exhaust... When it comes to piping i say focus on the performance not the look... Those things change color from heat and are under the car anyway right...
