Vibration from engine 320D

Hello guys.

Suddenly the other day, i got vibration from my engine. first i was only noticeable over 2000RPM, but now its is in all the rpm range. But worst over 2000. The car drives fine and no lack in power, but the vibration becomes worse over 2000. Now it shakes in idle as well and i can feel in the clutch pedal
My thought is the flywheel. But i had a Ford Focus TDCI before, where it broke as well, and didn't make the car shake.
Have any ideas?
The car has done 250.000

PR had a harmonic balance go bad on him but that was for an M57 engine. Not sure what engine that a 320D runs. I presume you mean 250,000 km=155,342 miles. PR is somewhere between 50,000 and 60,000 miles i recall

Yeah, as said. I'd check the balance on the crankshaft (near the accessory belt drive pully). Not sure (I haven't looked at the N47 diagrams on realoem.com) but there might be an internal balance shaft, too. Both need attention if they're "broken".

Thanks guys!

Will the ballance on the crankshaft and internal balance shaft make vibration in the clutch pedal and gear selector as well?

I had my son today, and therefore i took the car to the kindergarden (its across town, and a daytrip with busses) drove the car very neat og slow, changed gear at aprox. 1700 rpm, and the vibration almost didnt show, until i almost was at work, turned off the car and restarted it when the light turned green. removed most off the vibration

Luckily this all happened when i pulled into my drive way. Now mind you they (275o) are talking about a diesel w/a clutch

PR, let me get this straight. The pulley itself was replaced but the original damper stayed on? or is it all one part? I will go look at realoem dot com
