My SA got word from Port Charlston that my car was leaving Brem on the 15th. I'm assuming it's the Patriot. It better be on that boat because my car was completed on Nov. 27th and has yet to ship after sitting at the dock for over 6 weeks!!! We'll see in a few days when the WWL web site is updated with my VIN.

I just called the 800 number. It says waiting for a vessel. Now, the dealer is supposed to get the information on boats, right? My car was waiting for a vessel all day yesterday. I'm hoping and praying its on the Patriot.

800# says same thing for me as well. I had my SA check to make sure i'm on the boat but he said the system was down and would get back to me. I also checked the carriers site and still nothing.

My car was on the last trip for Patriot. I recommend reading some of the posts in that thread. It will give you some links to websites to track the ship. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99955
For those wondering if you are on Patriot I recommending checkin the shippers website under Auto Cargo tracking by entering your VIN. Your CA also has the best updates. Good luck and enjoy the waiting. Have fun by watching the ship cross the Atlantic.

Thanks for the info. I've been there done that with that thread. VERY helpful! I guess it's just the same ol' "hurry up and wait"
I've aged 5 years in the past 2 months that I've been waiting for my car to ship. lol |

The good news is that all of the hype and buildup during the wait is met and surpassed with the car that is delivered. It surpasses expectations.

I'll have to agree since you have a 335i! Way more fun than my 328i coming in. I'm a truck guy so this will be my first "official" car that I own. I'm sure it will be fun non the less

THIS JUST IN!!! Got word from my SA that my car did in fact leave yesterday on the Patriot!!!!!!! Schedule to hit Charleston on Feb 2nd. FINALLY, it only took 6 1/2 weeks of sitting at the dock to get on a boat! Now I have to keep my fingers crossed that the boat doesnt "tip" and total my car.

More than likely it's going to come off the boat in Charleston. It's a pretty big operation over there. If you're one of the lucky ones, your wait will soon be over.

Thought mine would leave on the Patriot but CA emailed me today and stated that it left aboard the K-Line Vessel: Caribbean Highway on 01/15/08 and is expected in Charleston, SC around 01/30/08. Anyone Know how to track K-Line Vessels?

The sip tracking web site I gave you doesnt require a log in. It updates a couple times a day usually.
Charleston shows the Patriot arriving on 2/2/08 still. Here is the link... http://www.scspa.com/vessel_schedule.asp Scroll down and you will see this info. PATRIOT WALLENIUS AND WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN 623 2/2/2008 Discharge: VEHICLES Load: I hope the VPC is not extremely busy with damaged cars from the Courage. They could be backed up doing small repairs and alignment checks on all those cars. You're driving all the way to Fredricksburg for peaches or what? lol We'll have to get some of the guys together when you're in town. |

The Courage was in NJ or NY wasn't it? I do not think it would affect SC. ![]() In regards to Fredricksburg, me and some of my Harley friends are riding down to the hill country. Supposed to be great roads for motorcycles. See ya on the road.... ![]() |

Discharge Date For The Patriot In Sc Moved Out Two Days!!!
FYI for those of you on the Patriot.
Using the link that 08TXbimmer gave me, I see that the Patriot has moved the discharge of vehicles out by two days. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This means I will probably have to take delivery of my bimmer in the middle of the week. ![]() ![]() I guess I will have to burn some vacation days and take the rest of the week off to play. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
