There was a guy on Bimmerfest in Berkerly
who used to repair the 7 series logic 7's he would even put higher value output chips in to raise the wattage but they banned him for not being a approved vendor. Gentlemen,
I discovered when discussing repair with one of the reps referred, that my amp has been replaced form original. The car is 2006 330i, the amp is from 2008, based on PN#s; Current- 65129181743 Factory- P/N 65129150899 -> 65129170386 used on the E81 E87 1-series, E90 E91 E92 E93 3-series, E60 E61 5-series and E63 E64 6-series I gathered this information from http://www.bmwgm5.com/default.htm Is someone able to comment on the 2008 usage in the 2006? Am I losing any functions or features by using the 2008 unit? Further, am I introducing potential problems into the MOST system by using a unit from 2008? Thanks in advance for your thoughts /comments. Regards, *** found my answer with more searching...... Last edited by graphitegreg; 01-01-2015 at 09:54 AM.. Reason: new info |
