LPFP Reading 134 psi at idle

About a week ago, I installed the Fuel It stage 2 pump and everything has been running very smoothly. About 10 minutes into my commute to work this morning I looked down at my Cobb AP and noticed that the LPFP was at 134 psi at idle . I hadn't taken the car past 3k RPM's.

I looked at the codes and the always present 2AAF was there (no big deal) and I also had code 2A2D present.

2A2D - fuel low pressure system, fuel pressure

What could be causing this? My initial thought is my LPFP sensor is on the way out. I replaced it about 2 years ago but I'm definitely not ruling it out. I remember that when the sensor was done I got code 29F3 and pressure would read 145.01 at all times.

I already contacted Steve to get his thoughts but wanted to see if you guys had any experience or input.

Could be the sensor, when it goes things get cray. My car has always pegged LPFP PSI a bit high, had a ridiculous saga with it last spring that Steve was able to tackle.

Does it spike there? Or it is just pegging that.

On the drive in, it was staying pretty steady at 134 (+/-) 10 psi.

I remember when you were having that fuse issue. Anything fuel related, Steve is my go to guy!

Got in the car to go to lunch and LPFP is pegged at 145 and code 29F3 is now showing up. Looks like it's time to replace the sensor again after 2 years. could be worse!

the other codes are gone.

Generally when LPFP reads something high as a flatline, that means your sensor is junk. It's a pretty easy fix.

My psi reads zero on occasion and code came up saying fuel sensor electric. Pretty straight forward right guys? Time for a new sensor.

Remove Charge Pipe
Remove Throttle Body
Remove Junction Box
Pop off Connector (toughest part IMO)
Remove Old Sensor

Can anybody direct me to a step-by-step to install the Low pressure fuel sensor on a 2008 335i E92? Got the part, got the error code, just need to install it now.

No need to remove the intake manifold....
