Hi everyone

I just took my car into Douglas park BMW for what I thought was supposed to be just an oil service but they instead told me that the oil, fuel, air and break fluid was due too. Unfortunately they couldn't fit it all in today so I've rescheduled for a couple weeks time.

Anyway they quoted £363 inc VAT for this, just wondering if this is a good price?

I also forgot to ask about a courtesy car while I was there.. Does anyone know if bmw usually give you one to keep you running?

When I used to use the dealer, they always lent me a car but only when I asked.

Doesn't sound too bad. But there might be a few extras they throw in. Which service/ mileage is it. You could try putting your details in here

Yeah sounds ok to me too.

I ran it though that website and it's Engine oil service with microfilter, air filter and fuel filter.
Cost: £323 Then brake fluid for £45.

The mileage is 78350

Not too bad a price, they charged me £12 for the courtesy car (you have to book one) apparently to cover the cost of insurance even though my own insurance covers courtesy cars bit of a rip off sorry ranting, I use hillington branch always had good service

just quoted around £570 ish for a main service on my 330d msport from a bmw dealer.

Although a good indy has quoted around £370 using bmw parts. Big difference.

Only thing different i suppose is the stamp in the book and no courtesy car. i can take the hit ! lol
