PROcede v2.1?
A thread directed toward Shiv...
Although I've been enjoying an error-free PROcede v2.02 (at 94% TQ Curve values) for a while now ![]() ![]() I've heard that Shiv and the guys at Vishnu were working on making a bit more power (lower end perhaps? ![]() ![]() Also, will there be more power with just the std. v2.1 map (w/ stock airbox, stock exhaust, and stock DPs) or only for those ppl with some/all of these other mods (stage 1, stage 2, etc.)? ![]()

I am already working on a exhaust, but no one is currently making one that is from the catback for a E93
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I am thinking of the CP-E exhaust, but have to modify the 2nd part of the connection to fit the crossbar that the E93 has....I just want something thats a bolt on, but I think i have to modify it |

I wouldn't expect much in the way of a power increase with v2.1 over v2.0.2 on a stock intake and stock DP car.
If anything there may be more torque delivered down low, but really, to make more than about 360 rwhp on these cars, you need at least a CAI or aftermarket DP's. I think v2.1 will be more user friendly allowing (hopefully) user adjustable torque settings that are GEAR and RPM dependent, instead of just RPM dependent. I know there is the talk of "launch control" and one or two have said, "this car already has launch control, it's called DSC" But that statement is just false. DSC is not launch control, but rather launch failure. It doesn't cut just the right amount of power to allow perfect launches, it cuts power abrubtly and ruins launches. Having control of DSC and the ability to (when accelerating hard in a straight line) interfere less, but still cut just enough power to keep the tires from spinning too much would be awesome. Though admittedly I think that's a LOT to ask for. |

Yeah. Just remember what everyone always said when "other" tuners posted high numbers with their personal car. Take it with a grain of salt. I haven't seen any numbers that impressive with just V2 and exhaust.

You must be really insecure about something because you always get offensive about anything said about the PROcede. I wasn't even talking down on the product, and I was speaking about all tunes in general. The PROcede is a great product, and has been having great results. Be happy with what you have, and don't get pissed any time I post something. Especially when it wasn't biased.

He was trying to tell me that the same applies to other tuners. He wasn't saying anything else regarding JB. Re-read the thread.... ![]()
