Top Gear RC-F

Jeremy Clarkson did not mince words on his opinion of the new RC-F...wouldn't even "let" the Stig take it for a lap...

Yeah. It's a shame I was looking forward to this car as a possible replacement for my M.

Lexus really missed the boat on this one.

Chris Harris was not impressed, either.

Got one for my GF as a daily when they first came out. As one of the first few in CA to take delivery, it was neat in the beginning. She got tired of it and we sold it less than 2 months later at a net gain of $700.

Good car overall, but not much substance.

The problem is it wasn't done on an all-new platform. They pretty much pieced it together with what they had already hence it being heavy. Too bad because it could have been a great car.

The body lines of the RC-F in 10 years will look so blah.
M cars will always have that timeless body style.

Clarkson hated it so bad that he ended up spending half the time re-reviewing the LFA.

Timeless? I don't know if that can be said about the F80 M3. They look practically the same as the E90 m3. BMW is starting to become like Porsche. A new generation of car with just minor design tweaks here and there.

Yes the F80 is too early to tell.
I didn't like the look of the E90 at first, then when i looked at it in person i fell in love with the lines.

I still think if it had been 700lbs lighter it would have been a totally different result.

I think the differences between the E90 and F80 M3 are pretty significant..

LOL really? You have not a single clue then, the F80 M3 is horrendous looking compared to the E90 M3. They don't look remotely alike.

The F80 is over the top and the E90 was too plain. Both are four door sedans, but I wouldn't call them all that similar.
