Factory Alarm Sound
I just retrofitted my E93 with an OEM factory alarm, including motion sensors. Works perfectly, BUT...the alarm does not sound like I expected. It is a beeping alarm rather than the typical up-and-down siren sound that I've had in other cars/aftermarket alarm systems.
Is this the new sound of the BMW factory alarm? In my search for answers on the forum and Internet/YouTube (which provided little help), I came across a YT video of a guy showing off his E93 335's factory alarm. It sounded like the typical up-and-down siren, not just a beeping sound. What does yours sound like?? Can the sound be coded/changed in the DWA module of the E9x by any chance? (Saw THIS in the YT video below of an E61 alarm system.) Thanks
