I use the individually wrapped tissues that I use to clean the lenses on my glasses. Same goes for my monitors and TVs.

nice idea there! I was thinking maybe one of those exotic animal tail brushes would do nicely too.

1. Clean, dry, soft paintbrush (removes surface dust and gets into every crevice. Also good for cleaning vents and other tight spots.

2. Swiffer duster or similar for quick wipes.

3. Plexus and a microfiber cloth for cleaning any smudges off the screen.

I've actually found that those tissues can scratch--my BlackBerry came with a microfiber cloth, but I used one of those tissues meant for eyeglasses, out of a package instead. That caused scratches. When in doubt, use microfiber has been my policy since about 3 years ago. They seem to work very well with many items.

dunno if you wear glasses, I do, and for cleaning those they sell this little sprays with solution in them, plus the special cloth. I use that spray on pretty much all screens and find it to be perfect, whether its laptop screen, just LCD or whatever else. cheap too.

I recently bought an LCD cleaning kit from Best Buy. It comes with a good microfiber cloth, a bottle-spray of cleaning fluids (contains no ammonia, alcohol or other harmful chemicals) and it cost $20.

I think a solution of mildly soapy water and microfiber cloth is the cheapest way to go - but a little messier and more work. That's why I decided to go for the cleaning kit...
