Well just installed my VRSF Downpipes and HOLY LAG, has anyone experienced this? I did 1 & 7 on JB4 to have it adapt and still laggy. Can anyone chime in on this? The rattle got louder but I was expecting that thinking of upgrading to RB soon to get away from the annoying noise.

You might have swapped the O2 sensors from bank 1 to bank 2 . Did you mark the pre-c a t ones ? Did you also mark the rear ones too? The rear connectors can easily be swapped. Also double check that you didn't install the v-band clamp in front of the wastegate arm.

You did something wrong. I felt way faster spooling and more power. Hands down best mod aside from Cobb. No wastegate rattle except on cold start but goes away after one minute

I had this happen to me a few times when I first put on my downpipes. It went away when I upgraded the jb4 firmware from 27x to 28.5b. Try putting some better fuel also.
Edit: just saw on n54tech that there were a few known bugs in the 27.x firmware that were fixed in 28. |

The known JB4 bugs are always very minor and very specific types of applications being improved.
I don't think firmware would change whats happening here but I would strongly recommend loading the updated firmware. Throttle response will be determined by the settings of the menu 10 and 12 rather than firmware updates. |
