313 alloy wheel advice

Hey everybody, looking to get some 313 wheels for my e91 they have been sprayed a different colour to the diamond cut finish will this effect the wheels in any way shape or form.

Car is currently standard m sport sus but will lower it sometime, will the ride be really harsh on 19s? & in your personal choice will it look right on 19's on std m sport sus?

Offset is 8j front 9j rear will this cause any rubbing or issues?

& last one shat tyre size should be fitted?

Sorry for all the questions & thanks for any help at all

Shaun

different colour wheels wont really effect the wheels any different. if you hit a kerb they still get scratched...

ride all depends on what tyres your thinking? RFT or non RFT? i would go non RFT tbh and 235/35/19 up front and 265/30/19 at back.

dont see you getting any rubbing

ive got 313's to go on my E93 aswell.

Meant with regards to the finish fading overtime or anything (never been a fan of diamond cut for the milking) & didnt know if was the wheel or finish .. There on non rfts as are my mv3s at the moment, the ride hieght is a concern to me as dont want it to look out of place, is there a way to spot if reps or not?

id go wider on the tyres if i were you. probably go to 255 on the back if your going 225 on the front but you may need some spacers to get them to look decent.

are you on about these wheels? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-313-19...#ht_347wt_1400

that seller is a member on here using the same or similar user name. the ones in the listing are replicas and its abit misleading not stating it anywhere in the ad
hard to say re how to tell if reps. i put a pic of mine up asking whether people thought they were original or reps and it was 50/50 some got it right some wrong but pic wasnt the best

if your going to see them just look inside to see if its got BBS on inside. the 8J fronts and 9j rear are genuine sizes tho

Generally only way to properly tell is to check the backs of the rims. Reps generally don't have the same concavity as genuine rims too.

Those tyres are too narrow for the rear really. Deffo need to consider changing them as they will look stretched when on.

Saw those ones on facebook group.
It says professionally refurbed. I would question where they were done and how?

Also, if its the same wheels which I am talking about they were refurbed in ferric grey? That will give impression that wheels are fake.
Also, you have to ask if the diamond cut face was retained by refubing or was that coloured as that is the part which get milking effect.

I have had them for 1 month. I must say that they are excellent looking wheels on E92/E93 but they do not suit E90/E91 IMHO. Also, there are better after market wheels out there with less hassle of maintaining and a lot more aggressive than those.

Cheers for the replies. Yeah they are reps with budgets on after having a think I can't really justify buying new wheels after just getting new tyres on my mv3s like has been said there are plenty of other wheels out there if I do change my mind & some csls would also be nice.. However I'm not rushing anything yet. Cheers guys!
