Suspension help. Quick
I know it's in the wrong section but this gets the most attention.
My drivers rear strut is loose and I think that is what is causing the car to make a clunking sound in the back. I put a socket on the top nut and turn it but it's not tightening... It just keeps spinning the silver "arm" or what ever it's cause and I'm not getting more threads exposed. What's the trick to getting this tight??

take the nut off and check to see if the threads are stripped. If it is you could add a washer on it to tighten it up just to hold you over.
