Anyone in the Wheeling or surrounding area willing to help with spark plug change?
Hey guys, I WOT last night and now have misfiring in cylinder 4, 5 and 6. I'm going to do a spark plug change but don't have the socket. Anyone willing to help me out here and let me borrow? I would order it but need this done in the next 2 days.
In addition, if I'm having misfiring, do you guys think I need to do the coils too? Thanks in advance.

i gotta drive through wheeling to work. i can lend it to you and you can meet up with me sometime afterwards to give it back.
also, it's just a 12 point thin-walled 14mm socket. you could get it from sears or maybe an autoparts store. torque wrench is necessary too. i can't remember where i got mine.

Also, I'd prefer to replace all plugs+coils at once rather than go back and to the same work again.

FYI, I changed plugs once (6k on them with a tune) and am now having misfires so I bought all new coils...if you do them (plugs and coils) all at once, you should be in great shape for a while...GL. There are all sorts of DIYs on these boards.
One tip: when pulling out the coils, flip the top clip then take a screw driver or long socket extension and slide it through the hole on the clip. Pull up and the coil pack will come right out...much easier and should be less likely to break. GL |

I actually bought everything but while waiting for everything to come in, it "fixed" itself. lol. I'm going to wait a few weeks till the weather gets a little nicer and tackle the job. Although today's weather seems awesome!!!
