Tire Life on Staggered Setup?
I'm considering going from stock 17x8 square to an 18" staggered setup. Doing this reduces or eliminates the ability to rotate tires (depending in direction tiresome such) so I'm trying to get some idea of the life I can expect out of a set of tires.
Obviously there are many variables here, but if we say all things are equal (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3, "normal" driving with a little spirited driving, regular alignment, etc) and the only difference is square setup with regular tire rotation and a staggered setup, is there some ballpark percentage of life I can expect to lose on the tires? I know this is subjective but I'd appreciate your input and experiences. |
